Crypto changes nothing about the math of the game: the Pass Line stays at 1.41% whatever your account is denominated in. What changes is withdrawal speed, bonus size and identity requirements — and with them comes a layer of risk that fiat does not have.
The thing that does not change is the one that matters — the game itself. The dice fall the same way, the Pass Line house edge stays at 1.41%, and free odds cost 0% regardless of what your balance is denominated in. No coin makes craps better value.
Everything around the game does change: withdrawals go through within the hour instead of a day or a week, welcome bonuses double or triple, and the deposit bypasses the banking system entirely. In exchange you take on volatility, network fees and an offshore jurisdiction — worth knowing before the first transfer rather than after.
Sites accepting cryptocurrency. The list is refreshed as operators change their terms.
The sequence is the same at almost every crypto casino:
A crypto wallet or an exchange account, funded with the amount you are prepared to stake.
Pick a site from the rankings. Documents are usually not required at this stage.
On the deposit page select the coin and the network, then copy the address. Getting the network wrong means losing the funds with no way back.
The network confirms the transaction, after which the amount appears in your gaming balance.
Craps mechanics do not depend on the account currency — play exactly as you would in dollars.
Crypto casinos sell themselves on three arguments: fast withdrawals, big bonuses and minimal questions about who you are. The first is honest in full, the second is half true, and the third holds until you try to withdraw. Let us take them in order.
Casino links in this article are affiliate links: the site earns a commission on referrals. That does not affect the ranking order or the substance of these write-ups — if it did, trust in us would be worthless, and without that the site is worthless too.
Sending USDT on ERC-20 to an address issued for TRC-20 means losing the money with no route to recovery. Crypto transfers are irreversible: neither the casino, nor an exchange, nor anyone else can reverse them. Check the network twice, and make your first deposit a minimal amount — losing $20 on a test costs less than losing the bankroll to carelessness.
Everything else forgives mistakes: an unsuitable coin can be swapped, a deposit that was too small can be topped up, an unsuitable casino can be replaced. A wrong network cannot be undone.
Details on fees, limits and timing are in the crypto payments section.
The starting point is the transaction identifier — a long string labelled TxID or Hash that your wallet or exchange issues the moment you send. Copy it, open a block explorer for the network the transfer used, and paste it into the search.
| What the explorer shows | What happened | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Transaction not found | The transfer never left; the money is still yours | Check the wallet or exchange: withdrawals often queue on the sending side |
| Pending, few confirmations | The network is congested | Wait; the amount and address are already fixed and will not change |
| Confirmed, address matches the casino’s | The money reached the operator | Contact support and attach the identifier |
| Confirmed, different address | It went somewhere else | Not recoverable — see the network rule above |
The third row is the most common one. The transaction is confirmed but the balance has not moved: that means crediting is stuck on the casino’s side, which is a question for its support rather than for the network. With an identifier that conversation closes in minutes, because there is nothing to investigate — the record is public.
The transaction identifier, the recipient address, the network name, the amount and the time sent. A screenshot of your wallet does not replace them: it shows your screen, whereas the identifier points at a blockchain record any party can verify. Five seconds of copying saves days of email in the worst case.
There is a caveat people tend not to mention, though: provably fair applies almost exclusively to the casino’s own original games. Craps from third-party studios — the overwhelming majority of tables — does not usually offer that check.
That does not mean it cannot be verified. The mechanism is simply different, and the table above shows which one applies to each format.
None of the three is worse than the others: cryptographic verification, an independent audit and physical observability solve the same problem by different means. Only one situation is bad — when none of the three is present.
| Coin | Crediting time | Fees | Characteristic |
|---|---|---|---|
| Bitcoin (BTC) | ~10–60 min | Depend on network load | Maximum coverage, high volatility |
| Ethereum (ETH) | ~1–5 min | Medium and up | Widely supported, volatile |
| Litecoin (LTC) | ~2–10 min | Low | The fast, cheap workhorse |
| USDT (TRC-20) | Minutes | Low | A stablecoin4: your bankroll does not move with the market |
| USDT (ERC-20) | Minutes | Higher than TRC-20 | The same coin on a more expensive network |
| DOGE, SOL and others | Minutes | Low | Support depends on the individual casino |
USDT on TRC-20 as the default: a stable rate and a low fee. Litecoin if you want maximum speed at minimum network cost. Bitcoin is excellent for coverage, but holding a gaming bankroll in it means adding currency risk to the gambling risk.
Being a crypto casino does not guarantee support for every coin, so the availability of the one you hold is its own criterion when choosing a site.
The wagering is the same — 35–50×, occasionally higher. And crucially: the craps weighting is usually 0–10%, meaning the bonus is effectively built for slots.
Before opting into any promotion, check three things:
There is a full breakdown on the craps bonuses page. The general conclusion is unflattering: many bonuses exist for a craps player on paper only, and chasing them is not worth it.
At a fiat casino you risk only losing. At a crypto casino, currency risk is added, and the two compound. The simplest fix is to hold the gaming bankroll in a stablecoin: then exactly one kind of risk remains — the one you deliberately signed up for.
Before staking crypto, get a feel for the game at the free table — craps mechanics are identical regardless of account currency, and working them out is cheaper without putting coins at risk.
Provably fair does not apply everywhere — but every format has its own verifiable mechanism.
| Game type | Fairness mechanism | How to check it yourself |
|---|---|---|
| Casino original games | Provably fair: player seed + server seed, SHA-256 hash | Check the result hash in the built-in verifier after the round |
| RNG craps from studios | Certified generator, laboratory audit | Find a current GLI, iTech Labs or eCOGRA certificate |
| Evolution live craps | Physical dice, mechanical arm, HD broadcast | Watch the throw on air, verify the studio's licence |
